On my old Sony UDP 800Xm2 when I clicked on "display" it showed the original resolution of the disc being played and underneath that what it was being upscaled to. I really miss that.

@brian mchenry Not sure the ability to write unique filenames would be possible, we can take a look,  but the players do accept external subs via USB.

Ability to create (write) or recognize unique file names for .srt files on the USB.  The current 1/9 srt is not helpful when storing multiple files on a usb stick.
