Listening via Beyer DT700 ProX, Ampapa tube Headphone/Phono/Pre-amp. (has 2 tone controls), via the unbalanced RCA outputs with the supplied Ampapa 2 ft. cable.
Sounds great although I must admit all of the equipment is new to me, my old Sennheiser HD-424's can't be driven by this (relatively cheap) tube amp. since they are 2400 ohms.
DIre Straits was remastered so the sound is definately different from the regular CD, Yes and Steely Dan are the original analog masters.
Eventually the 900 is going to be used mostly for video playback, but I probably will keep this simple setup for more critical music listening.
